Hi, I'm Teresa

I am passionate about helping people to free themselves from the false beliefs they hold about who they are and what they are capable of creating in their life. We are all meant to thrive, to live a life well-lived. I see myself as a facilitator assisting individuals to let go of their limiting beliefs such as “I am not enough” or “I am not worthy” so that they can truly see and feel into who they really are and love themselves as they are. Understanding the root cause of these beliefs and releasing pain from past events are keys to regaining wholeness, freedom and joy in life. Understanding how the mind works and the power of your thoughts and feelings are also integral parts of the process of transformation and empowerment.

Finding a deeper understanding of oneself and claiming your power to change is a journey, and I feel privileged to assist others on this path. I can truly say that…I love what I do and am doing what I love.

A snapshot…

I have been married for nearly 20 years to an amazing man, and we have two wonderfully creative teenage daughters. As a mother, I understand the joy and challenges that parenthood brings especially during these unprecedented times. I also understand the ups and downs of long-term relationships, caring for an elderly mum and struggling to find a balance between family commitments, career, self-care and self-love.

Having grown up in a dysfunctional family where domestic violence was present, I am familiar with the limiting beliefs one can adopt as a consequence of childhood trauma as well as the journey and commitment it takes to release and overcome the pain of past events and the tyranny of negative beliefs.

As a young adult, I chose to hide my emotions and push the pain of the past away. Although I have had a mild form of anxiety and suffered with self-esteem and self-confidence issues for most of my life, I was unaware of it. Initially, I gained insight into human behaviour while studying psychology at university. I reached a point in my thirties where I felt that I needed some help to process what I had experienced as a child and teenager. I sought help from a good therapist who I saw fairly regularly for four years. I did gain further understanding of my own issues from psychotherapy, but it wasn’t until I studied the tools and techniques necessary to work effectively with the mind and experienced RTT for myself that I was able to create a real shift in my life. It has been both powerful and life-changing for me.  RTT has given me an amazing career full of purpose, flexibility and freedom. I am so grateful that I listened to my intuition, and now I get to help others to remove trauma, achieve their goals and change their lives. I feel honoured to assist others in this way.

When I’m not doing this, I enjoy spending time in nature going for walks on the beach and in the bush, spending time with family and friends, cycling, doing Pilates, yoga, Qi Gong, spiritual development and meditating.
